We often pop into Potters for maybe just a morning cappuccino. One this occasion however, we visited for a spot of lunch on what was a very warm July summer’s day, opting for a table in the garden which was in shade. Having studied the specials board, my wife and I opted for a sourdough bagel filled with crayfish in lemon mayo & avocado which was served with sweet potato chips and some salad. What a fantastic choice on our part – it was excellent, we could not fault it. Must make more of an effort to have lunch here more often!

Cute cafe with Fantastic food: my lamb tagine with red pepper couscous was really tasty (and hot) and her salmon and asparagus quiche was freshly baked and had a lovely salad and new boiled spuds with lots of butter. Really friendly cafe full of families and others. Some sat outside but we stayed indoors. The cakes looked great as well, but we didn’t have room, sadly. Recommend.

Bit of a squeeze, but we managed to get a pushchair in. Staff and food are both amazing. Great ambience and fireplace. They even made me a special baguette to meet my dietary requirements - not much effort but very appreciated. Will always eat here when we visit Dorchester.
